Rose gold plating will wear with time, you can make your plating last longer by not wearing it with strong lotions on, you should also avoid scratching or attempting to rub the ring as it will wear the plating faster
the plating is over brass
Note when the rose gold plating wears off the ring under is brass, brass is a base metal and will turn the dead skin cells on the surface of your finger green, this is a totally normal reaction, it is easy to wash off, and does not permanently dye your skin, it is not an allergic reaction. You can put a bit of clear polish on the inside of the band if you are put off by it. keeping these solid brass makes them affordable, if they were to be made in gold they would be exponentially more expensive and less ethical.
